This paper presents the sustainable treatment for indoor environment quality in buildings by examining the application of potassium sorbate, zinc salicylate, and calcium benzoate that used as food industry preservatives as indoor. The addition of antifungal agents significantly slows down the growth rate of the fungi which is shown to be reduced in diameter growth in MEA agar. The agar mixed with potassium sorbate resulted more efficient in controlling the growth of fungi compared to another two antifungal agents use in this research. The effectiveness of antifungal agents used was proven in slowing down the development of the fungi. Thus, it is proven that the application of these antifungal agents reduced the growth of the fungi isolated from building.
